My Ideal Destination: The more I've traveled the more obvious it has become that the "ideal" for me could never be a singular location. Instead the ideal is a result of the moment. Over the past few years I've shuffled through many ideal destinations; Thailand, Nepal, Bali; each one living up to my expectations. But now, as I begin a new direction in life, I find myself wanting something a little different from what I've become accustomed to over these past few years. While I love relaxing on tropical beaches, and I would never turn down a chance to travel to one, I can hear beautiful mountains calling my name, particularly the Andes. I want to get stuck behind llama trains as I hike the Inca trail in Peru. I want to kayak across crystalline lakes and climb volcanoes in Chile's lake district. I want to sleep under millions of stars in Torres del Paine National Park, and I want to see all the sites and experience as much as I can along the way.
