My Ideal Destination: I enjoy the journey to a destination. It gives you time to think and appreciate where you have been and what you have seen, and to use that energy in the future. A great destination to me is one that is small in size but huge in its potential while allowing outlets to meet warm people and easily check out what the city has to offer. Yangshuo, China; Maastricht, Netherlands; Chiang Mai, Thailand; all of these cities surprise you with what they offer and allow you to experience. Whether it is zip-lining through rain forests, biking through the countryside, or people watching at a local restaurant, they all offer interesting activities. I would love to revisit Europe and see a few countries that I missed before. The Central and South American country cultures seem too mysterious to pass up. If you can put me in a place with warm people, great food, and nice surroundings then I am at my happiest.
