My Ideal Destination: My ideal travel destination is off the beaten path. I enjoy going places that are not on everyone's "bucket list". A great travel destination means there is both nature and man-made wonders. It is a place that cannot exist the world over. It has a people and culture that celebrate themselves and welcome outsiders. These people take you in and love you and spit you out a new person. My ideal destination is warm (but not dry warm, I have very bad dry skin) and pleasant with some variation in the seasons. I should be able to eat the freshest fruits and vegetables and get the best cuts of meat and fish in a local market. I love eating outside, so my destination will allow that as well. If you know where I'm describing, please let me know as I would like to go there. Because if I knew this place, I am sure I would be there now. Until I find my ideal travel destination, I think the next places I would like to explore would be southern China. They have a culture so different from my own and have a large presence in my industry of Supply Chain Management/Logistics. I would like to know more about these people to help my businesses but also to see how another culture lives. By no means have I figured out the French in the 6 months I lived there, but I'd like to start learning about the Chinese at the same time.
